A1111 is one of many Stable Diffusion Graphical UI (GUI), and the most popular with ComfyUI.
A1111 is much more simpler than ComfyUI and is therefore more suitable for beginners.
ComfyUI has two advantages: it requires fewer resources (IE less VRAM) and the worflow can be shared.
If you don't know what to choose, take A1111 as it is easier to use and older (so more tutorials available). Some others are listed below.

Installing A111

For once in the AI world, it is simple: an installer exists for all the GUIs!
StabilityMatrix (link to GitHub page) allows to install all the most popular GUIs for Stable Diffusion.
It comes with a CivitAi integration, which is very useful!
