Ultimate SD Upscale is one of the method to upscale images, the best by far. The image is segmented into smaller tiles and each tile is then upscaled individually using Stable Diffusion, effectively increasing its resolution and detail. After individual upscaling, the tiles are stitched back together. The upscaling process can also introduce additional details to the image, especially with higher upscale factors. You can further control the extent of detail enhancement and noise reduction using options like denoising strength. This allows you to fine-tune the final image based on your preferences.
