There are many checkpoints for realistic pictures, and all are deceiving. I just think Stable Diffusion 1.5 isn't good enough for it (XL and the incoming V3 are much better).
Anyway if you absolutely want to generate such images, AbsoluteReality is, in my opinion, the best choice. It is still slightly behind Realistic Vision
for realistic human faces, but better for landscapes, animals, fantasy or items. It also has a much larger understanding (using DreamShaper as a base).
Please note it MUST be used with ADetailer for faces.
Ease of Use
Realistic checkpoints are a pain to master but it is the least-worst
Prompt understanding
Thanks to the DreamShaper base, it understands almost everything
Versatility
Just don't try to produce non-realistic pictures
