This checkpoint has one and only purpose, generating chibi-style pictures, and it does it pretty well.
The interesting part is you can use it to transform LoRA models into chibi, including realistic ones, allowing the generation of very funny images.
You must use a VAE to have good colors, I suggest kl-f8-anime2. Otherwise you'll get washed images like I did the first times I used this checkpoint (see pictures below, differences with and without VAE are obvious).
